Prime Minister Victor Ponta reacts after several people protested against the government's actions in Pitesti. He says that if Dacia employees "keep up the rallies, they will move the production to Morocco". At the same time he called on union leaders to be reasonable.

Asked about the protests at Mioveni, Victor Ponta said: " I also know that, if they keep up the rallies, production will be transferred to Morocco. Therefore I call on the union leader, I know very well what the salaries level is at Dacia, I know very well how many projects I have supported with state aid, I know very well that Dacia is important for us and for Romania and I call on them to be reasonable, because at a certain time they were very close, in December, if I am not wrong, to a crisis with their employer, not us. They should always be reasonable, do not forget, Dacia does have an alternative and I do not want to see them move somewhere else because of the strikes and because of the unions".

Nearly 7,000 people have been protesting in downtown Pitesti. Some of them are members of the Dacia Union, others are their relatives. They urge the Government to start works at the Pitesti-Sibiu motorway, to alter the Labour Code and express their disapproval of the regionalization project. They chanted "Down with the government", "Down, down liar Government " and "All for one, one for all".
