The photo was taken by Maximilian Dumitrescu on 15 June at 6:17 p.m. at Dumitrana Ilfov county.

The International Space Station appears tiny compared to the night star.

Many Internet commentators are of the opinion that from this distance the station resembles the imaginary spaceship Enterprise from Star Trek sci-fi series.

Among those who have noticed the resemblance are some of the performers in the series.
