Omar Sharif, one of the most famous arabic actors in the history of Hollywood has been interred in Egypt.
The funeral took place in Cairo and was attended by hundreds of people.
Omar Sharif died from a heart attack on Friday, at the age of 83.
He won his worldwide fame with a leading part in the movie "Lawrence of Arabia" in 1962, which brought him a nomination for best actor at the Academy Awards.
He became a Hollywood leading man after starring in "Doctor Zhivago" .
