Radu Beligan was born on December 14, 1918. He is an artist with a prodigious experience in theatre, film television and radio, actor and director with a complex set of roles played, both classic and modern, being considered one of the disciples of actress Lucia Sturdza Bulandra and of writer Eugene Ionesco.
Radu Beligan is honorary member of the Romanian Academy since 2004, while in March 2011 he received a star on the Avenue of Fame in Bucharest.
Radu Beligan performed on Saturday, December 14, at 19.00, in a play staged by Metropolis Theatre, a representation for his family and friends in the theatre business. This play is the maestro’s present for the Metropolis theatre upon his sixth anniversary.
