2013 has been a great year for the TV stations members of the Intact Group. The TV stations registered increased ratings and has strengthened its leading position in most slots, on the most important target audience segments. Antena 1 holds, with many of its entertainment productions, the top position in the audience rating, Antena 3 TV remains the leader of news televisions while the rating of the Antenna Stars is on the rise for a newly launched TV station while Euforia TV increased its ratings by over 50% in Prime Time.

Compared with 2012, the number of Romanian viewers aged between 18 and 49 years has been rising in 2013 on all slots. The most important increases are recorded on the hourly segments: Morning, Day Time and Late Fringe. Variety of international shows, TV series, documentaries, sports programs, and own productions, broadcast by the TV channels belonging to Intact Group, attracted an increasing number of viewers in the commercial target. In Day Time, the "Antennas" are leading the audience.

Significant increases are recorded in the All Urban target where the IMG stations have imposed and maintained their leading position in the Whole Day, Day Time, Access and Late Fringe ratings. The most important rating increase occurred in the Late Night segment (8%), when productions such as "A sinner’s show " (with Dan Capatos) on Antenna 1, "In the Press" (Mircea Badea, Antena 3), " VIP Agent "(Cristian Brancu)," Star News "and" Uncensored "(with Adriana Bahmuţeanu) Antenna Stars, are being broadcast.

At group level, during an assessment interval of 24 hours, the Intact productions have more viewers those of the CME group, the main competitor. The rating difference is 1.3 points of market audience share, throughout 2013. The great shows of Antenna 1, such as X Factor, Next Star, IComedy, I know who you are ! are just some of the best rated shows Romanians enjoy and which have had significant ratings increases over the past year.

 The biggest rating gap in the favour of the Intact group, compared to 2012, of 8,6 market share points, was registered during 2013, in Day Time. “A bride for my son” ( a ratings leader show ), the Observatory trademark productions on Antena 1, then the “Star Magazin” (Andra Trandaș), “Uncensored”  (Adriana Bahmuțeanu) on Antena Stars, “It happens in Romania” (Maria Coman), “Essential ” (Alina Petrescu) and Antenna 3 News are the show with a heavy contribution to the increased ratings registered.

The late afternoon is another ratings segment dominated by the TV channels belonging to the Intact Group . Direct Access show and the 16.00 Observatory news are for the majority of their broadcasts, absolute ratings leaders. During the same time interval 16,00 -to19,00, the shows “100 minutes” (Alessandra Stoicescu), “On Today’s Agenda” (Dana Grecu and Radu Tudor) on Antenna 3, but also “Star Magazin (Andra Trandaș) on Antena Stars are being broadcast. 

Late Night is another important interval where the "Antennas" shows run in the TV groups tops.

Antena 1, significant ratings rises every month

Since January, Antena 1 had recorded steady ratings growth among commercial public, month by month throughout all slots. The most important rise is recorded in Day Time interval, when both editions of the show "Bride for my son 'and Observatory news ‘programs are being broadcast. The percentage of growth during this time, across the public aged between 18 and 49 years is 30%. In prime time , Antena 1 ratings have registered an upward trend, with a market share percentage growth of 14%.

Year 2013 ended with excellent results for Antena 1: New Year's Eve shows were the absolute ratings leaders, both among the All Urban public and the Commercial or National one, being among the most watched entertainment shows of the year.

Antena Stars 


The modern channel of Antena Group, re-launched in December of 2013, has seen appraisals on all slots, the most important of them being the Morning segment, during which viewers can watch the show "Star Matinal". The market share growth percentage compared to 2012 is 40%.

Antenna 3 


The News Television of the Intact Media Group is the absolute ratings leader in its segment. The differences compared to the TV stations with the same profile are significant.

2013 was a good year for Euforia TV. The channel recorded ratings increases among female audience aged between 18 and 49 years in prime-time (57% compared to 2012) and in Late Fringe (73%).
