Gorghiu specified Sunday for Mediafax agency that the postponement of the candidate’s designation is motivated by the fact that the results of the opinion polls commissioned by PDL were delayed, since they started later.
"The opinion poll is not done yet. It will be sometime around August 8 to 9. PDL is late with the survey, it has started later", Gorghiu mentioned.
She added that the decision on the appointment of the joint candidate of the two parties will be taken in a joint meeting of the two parties leadership based on the results of polls.
"It will be a meeting of the joint leaderships to make a decision based on the polls. It will be formalized by a decision," Gorghiu said.
