Update 14.50 – Judges have decided Tuesday to reopen the case file of the Mihăileanu house, in which e Traian Băsescu is being investigated for office abuse, after having granted himself a home as mayor.
The request was made by the General Prosecution after the investigation was abusively terminated ten years ago.

Judges are to decide if they reopen the case file concerning the Mihăileanu house in which the former president is investigated for office abuse.
Prosecutor General requested the file reopening after it was improperly closed ten years ago. Prosecutors will investigate how Traian Basescu gave himself a house in the street Mihaileanu while he was mayor of Bucharest.
The apartment has an area of 370 square meters and a garage of 40 square meters and is located in an interwar villa in Bucharest.
