Turnout in the  European Parliament elections across the country was 32.16%, until 21:00, according to data provided by the Central Electoral Bureau (BEC).

In the  urban areas the turnout was 28.69% while in the rural area it was 36.88%.

According to  BEC, 26.93% of voters voted  in Bucharest. In the district one  34.53% of voters expressed their option while in  the 2nd district there were 27.69% , 24.98% in the 3rd district and  26.62% in the4th district,  5-21, 93% in the 5th district and  6-27.78% in the 6th

Higher  turnout percentages were registered in  Olt (46,57%), Ilfov (42,26%), Mehedinţi (40,17%), Teleorman (39,84%) and Giurgiu (39,12%).

Lower turnout was registered in  Maramureş (25,31%), Tulcea (27,12%), Ialomiţa (27,66%), Timiş (27,94%) şi Vaslui (28,22%).

Around 27,21% of the voters attended the previous attendance rate.
