"Since the European mechanisms are different from the ones in national parliaments, who will have more MEPs, more seats between the EPP and the SDP, shall appoint the European Commission President", Antonescu said.
The Liberal leader said that the PNL’s option is very clear for the right wing, for a president of the European Commission from the EPP, adding that there is a doctrinal compatibility of strategic policy orientation between the EPP and the Liberals, a party of the right wing.
PNL is member of ALDE.
