Victor Ponta would be situated on the first position in the presidential elections if they were take place next Sunday, the latest CSCI survey shows.
The candidate supported by the PSD, PC and UNPR is quoted with 42% of the votes. Second place would go to Klaus Iohannis, the right wing representative by 27%. The top continues with Liberal Calin Popescu Tărceanu that the survey quoted with 9% of the voters. Elena Udrea, although she says she is very confident in her chances, would only get 6%.
The runoff poll shows Victor Ponta as the winner, where it will remain in competition with Klaus Iohannis. Ponta would get 57% of votes, while Iohannis- 43%.
The survey was conducted by CSCI between 15-18 September 2014, on a sample of 1,100 adults and has a margin of error of 3%.
