The DNA prosecutors indictment for the arrest of the mayor of Slatina reveals hallucinating information. According to investigators, the current Minister of Finance, Darius Vâlcov would have received millions of lei in plastic bags.
The money was paid in installments between 400,000 and one million lei, the suspects in the case stated that at times they would meet Vâlcov even in the cemetery. The amounts represented bribes for services that he was performing in collusion with Minel Prina, mayor of Slatina

The prosecutors argued that "the amounts were remitted based on this unreal commercial relationship during the period 2010-2012, in which Vâlcov Bogdan Darius received the equivalent in lei of an amount ranging between 1 mil 500 an - 2 million euro,. (...) The remittance of the money to Vâlcov Darius Bogdan was conducted in plastic bags in installments amounting to 400.000 and 1 million lei, the origin of the money remitted has been justified by the businessman as coming from the sale of some private property lad plots or as cash withdrawals from his personal account."

Moreover, prosecutors accuse the defendants in the case that " in order to stop an inspection by the Tax Administration the Anti-Fraud General Directorate at the request of Şuşală Lucian Petruţ several documents and hard disks have been destroyed " and Darius Vâlcov had allegedly intervened with the Antifraud Direction of ANAF.
