In the opinion of the Romanian Minister, the Mihail Kogalniceanu base has become an important logistic hub and a transit center that constitutes the result of the excellent cooperation between Romania and the United States of America, Agerpres reports.
In his turn, General Philip Breedlove has appreciated the effort of the Romanian Army during their participation in NATO operations in past years and has stated that the Romanian Army is an important partner of the US troops.
Mircea Dusa also conveyed to General Breedlove Romania's support for a firm allied commitment in Afghanistan after 2014 and the support granted to the Alliance's intent in the direction of improving training and exercises with the purpose of better interactions with NATO partners.
