Elena Udrea claims to have gotten rid of the over 3 million euros credit due to revelations made by Antena 3. Udrea told how Alexandru Faur ended up as her benefactor.

It was actually the intervention of Gheorghe Stelian, the one from whom she had bought the land with the money borrowed, because Udrea could not use that land plot for constructions.

The topic was debated on the Sunday edition of the News Magazine, produced by Andreea Stroe, on Antena 3.

PSD deputy, Mădălin Voicu, explained that he personally has never taken into account the option of a bank loan and that from his 20 years’ experience as an MP he saw many members of the Parliament getting involved in different "shady business deals" to make money.

"I am one of the people in Romania happy that I have never resorted to a bank loan. Even if I were to end up in the streets, I will never remotely consider having anything to do with a bank. Banks are legal shark loans About what Elena Udrea says, I will not comment the politician Elena Udrea. Since I am not in tune with any business deals, arrangements and tricks I cannot have a say in it. I dislike and disapprove them. But that does not mean that there are no such things. And I say this with pain. Most politicians are combined, do business and aim to earn money more than they aim to perform in the public interest. There are all sorts of tricks. There are people who know. I can understand anything but I do not think I could resort to such combinations and arrangements. No one has put me to the test, perhaps that's why people business people do not like me. "

In turn, Liberal Marius Obreja explained that legally if the bank procedure whereby this credit has been shifted it is ok, then Elena Udrea’s situation becomes clear.

"My estimation is that more than half of the Romanian Parliament are tied in one way or another to a bank loan. Legally. I estimate that over half of them are legally bound. I could even disagree with you, this seems to me one of the few things related to Elena Udrea, this credit I mean, which, if the bank transfer procedure, the porting, was carried through, for he it is a clear situation. Who took that credit ownership should wash their head with it . "
