Elena Udrea gets loose from custody in the Microsoft file. Prosecutors have not asked for an extension of the house arrest warrant. The former Minister of Regional Development and Tourism is now in custody in another file the "Bute Gala". Elena Udrea yesterday was confronted with her accusers. After the 8 hours of hearings the former minister lawyer said that the discussion was in his client’s advantage.
He said at the end of the confrontation that Ştefan Lungu acknowledged before the prosecutors that the former Minister of Regional Development "did not know about the fact that he made certain payments to the party". About the confrontation with Ana Maria Topoliceanu, the lawyer said it was "a decent meeting, as between two people who are before a competent authority and give statements, behaved like two people who were called to a confrontation".
The lawyer also said that during the confrontations, which lasted almost 8 hours, “ hundreds of questions were asked".
