The EU Justice and Home Affairs Ministers met in Brussels yesterday and agreed on relocating to all member states forty thousand non-EU nationals who took refuge in Greece and Italy. Against the backdrop of this serious migrant crisis, President Klaus Iohannis said prior to the JHA Council that Romania would find other means of showing solidarity with the EU member countries and that the mandatory quota issue would become a thing of the past. That's because a European country cannot be forced into doing something beyond its capabilities.
