Prime Minister Victor Ponta wanted to end rumors that have circulated recently in the press about a possible withdrawal of his from the prime minister position, saying he wants to complete his term in the office.
"I want to complete my term as prime minister in December 2016. I have a term that needs to be brought to completion, I will carry it out", said Prime Minister Victor Ponta on Tuesday, during the Daily Summary show on Antena 3.
The head of the Government argued that he will not step down from the prime minister position before the elections, being keen on taking his term to completion, particularly since the “economy is going well, we have bigger salaries, we have lowered some taxes”.
"Therefore, I clearly want to complete my term in the office in December 2016", Ponta said.
