Under the headline "Choose Between Romania and Ponta, the Prime Minister Who Lost Credibility", the National Liberal Party yesterday tabled a censure motion in Parliament.
The document was signed by 180 MPs and the Standing Bureaus have already scheduled the debates: the first reading of the motion will take place tomorrow and the voting will be held next Tuesday, on September the 26th.
The National Liberal Party chose the Prime Minister's trouble with the Law as main issue and tabled in Parliament the censure motion with the best chance of passing in the past three years, liberals say.
The Liberals rely on MPs from other parties who are allegedly going to support the censure motion.
In spite of rumours against it, the Social Democratic Party closed ranks behind Prime Minister Victor Ponta and his Cabinet.
The National Union for Romania's Progress too would have reiterated their support for the Ponta Cabinet.
