The Briton, who is in Romania for a few days to attend the event organized by the Social Democratic Progressive Forum, entitled "Progressive Agenda for the Future" talked on Antena 3 about the importance of an independent judiciary in Romania.
"Justice must not be independent only so that people should have some freedom, but also because no one will come to invest in Romania if there are no rule of law safety regulations," said Lord Peter Mandelson, who showed that the effort

"I think you have won a lot. Look at Romania, where it has started off, look at the democracy that has been implemented, look at the political institutions that have been built. (...)
