Mircea Badea commented Monday evening during the show "In the press" the article " The whitening strategy of Basescu’s clan " published in the National Journal.
“The army of “painters” hired to paint in white one of the most unfavorable situations that the Basescu brothers could find themselves in, is acting threefold”, Jurnalul Naţional reports.

a)The president was not informed by the SRI about the business deals his brother Mircea was doing with Bercea;
b) The president was unaware of his brother’s business because he was and adult.
c) The president did not intervene to favor Bercea, who was sentenced during his term in the office.
According to Mircea Badea, it is correct that Traian Basescu did not intervene to favour Bercea sentenced while he was in office, the President intervened against the interlope.
"The president spoke against Bercea sending Mircea Basescu, who had taken the money from the Gypsy to go to the DNA, so that the DNA would chase the gypsies from his doorsteps ... Which is actually what did happen until the images with Mircea Basescu clearly saying that he took 250,000 euros became public, " Badea said.
