He said that " the presence of a NATO command center on the territory of Romania is the most important security moment since the fall of communism".
"Beyond the economic benefits I suspect everyone can perceive, beyond the fact that a civil and a foreign military presence in the area means an additional guarantee that that the area is better protected, Romania will grow in terms of the operations the Alliance will plan from now on ", the journalist said.
"Romania will be among the first countries whose name will be heard in any military operations and exercises. A NATO command center means senior military officers coordinating the South Eastern border of Europe," Radu Tudor said, adding that Romania will have a heavy word to say when it comes to strategic decisions.
