MEP Norica Nicolai says that former PNL leader, Crin Antonescu, misled the Liberals, after promising them that they will be appear on the EPP lists today.
"PNL is still a member of ALDE. I believe I was misled by Crin Antonescu. I’ve seen that at the moment we cannot be admitted into the EPP and I think it's very fair, because as provided by statute we need a debate on the doctrine and values needed to be granted the entry into the EPP. I’ll ask today a point of view of Mr. Iohannis because, in my opinion, this attitude of our puts us outside PNL, which forces that the decision to join the EPP should be taken by the Congress" ,Nicolai said in a telephone intervention on Antena 3.
