Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta, said on the Tuesday's edition of the show "Daily Summary", produced by Mihai Gadea, on Antena 3, that foreigners do not have a problem with Romania, in decision-making structures, but there are many Romanians who speak bad things about Romania.

"It’s not the foreigners who hold a grudge against Romania. They just come and say: Well, no. This is something that does not occur in other countries. Bulgarians, when it came to Schengen, went and rallied all their MEPs to support their cause. Now, the people from PNL are going in the European Parliament and say we should not be admitted into Schengen, because it is bad."

Ponta underlined that the current Liberals have taken some decisions that cost Romania a lot.

"Was it well during their time in government? I am speaking about three years ago, when we started descending down that hole, now we are out of the hole and what do we do ? Are we sliding back? For them to resume power. It’s not me who signed the papers to cut salaries and pensions, to shut down schools and hospitals. Mr. Predoiu signed those. We fixed that."
