Deputy Prime Minister Liviu Dragnea has made serious allegations against the ACL. The Executive Chairman of the PSD's campaign claims that the representatives of Klaus Iohannis have allegedly given money so that the ACL leader should win the second round of the presidential elections.
Dragnea said Wednesday that he had videos recordings in this respect and the Social Democrats had already filed a complaint to police.
"The amounts they are referring to are of about RON 50 and as I have understood they do not give the money in an envelope, not to spend money on envelopes too. My colleagues have made a complaint to the police," Liviu Dragnea said Wednesday.
In the video clip, Dragnea added " the PSD colleagues have identified representatives of Iohannis's campaign."
Also, another accusation launched by Dragnea refers to the fact that "over the recent days, PSD and UNPR mayors are getting some poisoned letters, clearly sent from Iohannis’s campaign center, but not from Bucharest, describing many offenses in the Criminal Code. "
Specifically, Dragnea explains "Our mayors receive copies of complaints addressed to Kovesi by the Acta non verba foundation, the association has been contacted by us and stated they were not involved.
This action is conducted with the purpose to intimidate our mayors, " deputy Dragnea said.
The head of PSD claims that the letters contain the names of "DNA" and Kovesi, just to intimidate people, and the documents were allegedly sent from Cluj.
"All these letters we will collect them from our mayors and send them to DNA. All the envelopes received have sender stamp from Cluj Napoca" Dragnea concluded.
