Prime Minister-designate Dacian Cioloş yesterday embarked on a political pilgrimage to the headquarters of the main parliamentary parties. His quest for political support in Parliament was successful at the National Liberal Party, whose leaders pointed out, however, that the government investiture vote is a mere hurdle. Even if MPs endorse the Cioloş Cabinet, the new Prime Minister will find it difficult to achieve good governance with so many Social Democrats in key positions.
