Victor Ponta stated on a TV show that during the holiday he spent in the USA TV he was tailed by a private agency paid from Romania.
"For me and for my family strictly, it was a good thing in this holiday not to be prime minister, that money was no longer spent to guard me in different countries. (...) A private agency there, in America (tailed me – editor’s note). A site in Romania has paid some people out there who followed us. It's the right of the press, it is their right to do so, as is my right to go on vacation with my family . Whenever I go abroad a picture like that comes out. It’s money spent by a private website news. If they have it, it is their business, " Ponta said, on a TV channel.
