PSD spokesman said that the Prime Minister Victor Ponta will travel to Houston where he will meet with representatives of the two energy 'giants', Halliburton and Exxon Mobil.
"The prime minister will not only present the investment opportunities in Romania to the two companies’ top management , but he will also promote the Romanian companies that provide services and expertise in the field of energy," the statement reads.
Sova concludes that the foreign visits that Prime Minister Victor Ponta has conducted during his term in the office demonstrate that "once in Cotroceni, he will fulfill his duties of representing Romania abroad much more successfully and with more dignity than Traian Basescu."
Prime Minister Victor Ponta begins Tuesday a several days visit in the United States, where he will attend the 69th session of the UN General Assembly in New York and will hold talks on economic issues with representatives of American energy companies.
