Crin Antonescu seems an  unrealistic, unstable man, who betrayed  the USL and now runs from responsibility, Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu said Monday.

The Senate President believes that Antonescu had not resigned from the leadership of the Liberal Party, if he had  not been forced by pressure from the party and the disastrous results obtained in European elections.

Also, the revolt of the  regional  organizations leaders is normal, Tăciceanu believes, especially since a merger with PDL would do nothing  but throw the party in Basescu’s  arms.
