The Constitutional Court of Romania just confirmed the results of the Family Referendum that took place on October 6th and 7th, after the judges decited all the procedures were rightfully followed.
According to the Electoral Office only 21.10% of voters participated in the voting process, out of which 91. 56% voted YES, 6.47% voted NO and 1.97 % of votes were void.
In order for the referendum to pass a 30% participation was needed.
