The Romanian Court of Law convicted the former head of the Romanian National Agency for Fiscal Administration, Sorin Blejnar, to six years of prison for traffic of influence. The court of law also imposed a hold on his fortune.
The decision is not final and it can be appealed.
Sorin Blejnar was accused in December 2016 that in 2011 agreed to 20% of the value of some contracts that were about to be signed off.
