Professor Dan Voiculescu is launching a challenge : who are the presidents who should end up in a Hall of Shame? Following the model of a Science World documentary , about the Hall of Terror including the biggest dictators of all times, historians have had the opportunity to find the presidents who have caused shame to the country they led and proved to be real villains towards the people who elected them.
"In this month’s issue of the Science World journal (March-April 2015), I read a review about the great world dictators and their regimes, entitled "Hall of Terror. "The article debates on what are, psychologically, the possible reasons for which people under a dictatorship bear with that leadership and how part of the population develops a primitive relationship with its leader (for a short period of time though, I would say). There are a number of common features of dictators, say the authors of this material. Next to the 6 dictators mentioned in the article Nicolae Ceausescu would certainly have found his place too, who by the way is found in most of the charts with leading dictators of the world. But recent history shows that dictatorship may take on different forms.
And, therefore, I propose historians to analyze how would a "Hall of Shame" which should contain the world's presidents who have shamed their country would look like. Who dares to do this analysis? I assure you that this list will get the attention of the most prestigious science journals in the world. In this ranking, the meanness, incompetence, irresponsibility in relation to their own people, in a word – of shame - who do you think should occupy first place? ".
