The Liberals censure motion against government Ponta rejected

The Liberals censure motion against government Ponta was rejected in the Parliament today, because it did not collected the required number of votes for it to pass. The motion was supported by 176 votes "for" and 19 "against", while the minimum required number of votes in favor should have been at least, Mediafax reports.

The Parliament debated Monday afternoon a censure motion "Stop Government Ponta 3 – The Government of corruption, demagogy and lies", the meeting began by the reading of the motion the opposition submitted and presented by Liberal Eugen Nicolaescu.

The censure motion was initiated by the PNL and endorsed by the PDL, PMP and PP-DD.
