Antena 3 reporter sent to cover the PMP Congress recorded a phone conversation, between him and the "group leader" who organizes and gathers people at the congress, which means that there is money to for applause services.

Traian Băsescu has paid those who applauded him at the PMP congress with 20 lei. Antena 3 presented the proof showing that those who attended the election of Băsescu as PMP president were paid to attend the event.
The people in the room were supposed to contact the event coordinators to cash their money in at the end of the event.
The applauding people were registered on lists. At the entrance in the room they signed the attendance sheet and after the congress they were rewarded with a few dozen lei.
