Dan Voiculescu argues that it is suspicious the fact that the president chooses to attack Antena 3 or himself whenever he is being questioned about the scandal Mircea Băsescu-Bercea Mondial.
Asked by an Atenna 3 reporter about his relationship with PDL member Marian Căpăţână, the one who affirmed in the recordings broadcast by Mihai Gâdea on the Daily Summary show that he had special powers, his answer was the following: Madam, does Mr. Voiculescu need this?. Can’t you see he is away over his head in the land plots issue. Remember how upset the Antenna was when my family bought a farmland with money borrowed from the bank? Now I understand why Voiculescu was upset. He had his eyes on the same farm land too and he probably wanted to lease it somehow, not only the 2000 hectares he owns right next to my farmland. I have it all cleared up now that Voiculescu had interests there.”
Dan Voiculescu wrote on his personal blog about the president’s refusal to answer the questions of the Antenna 3 reporter.
"Could it be about the visit to Bucharest that Căpăţână argues he has paid with Mircea Băsescu to „fetch the money"?!
"Could it be about Băsescu’s attempt to hide the way he appropriated the land from Nana?!" Dan Voiculescu says.
He also speaks about the fear echoing from the President’s attitude who knows that his term in the office is almost over and that can be investigated for all his actions.
"Could it be about the fact brave people have asked the Prosecutor General to open all of Băsescu’s case files that are not related to his political opinions?!"
The one who has always been in an open conflict with Traian Băsescu and who is now bearing the consequences thereof also raises other questions related to the president’s attitude.
Is it fear of the statements of those who are currently in the investigation, or that (...) it will be showed that he personally cashed in significant amounts, when the Romania's maritime fleet was sold!
In the posting on his blog, Dan Voiculescu asks whether the president is afraid of the reaction of the 7.4 million Romanians whose will was disregarded in the 2012 referendum.
