The Prosecutor General decided to reopen the prosecution of former President Traian Basescu in the case file where the PSD senator Gabriela Firea, acused him of blackmail after the mediation procedure between the two failed, b365.ro reports.
The PSD senator Gabriela Firea said Saturday evening that she has not concluded mediation with former President Traian Basescu, in the file before the Prosecutor General, for reasons which cannot be attributed to her .
'' We did not, unfortunately, conclude the mediation, for reasons that cannot be attributed to me. I think there wasn’t a very serious intent for mediation. The prosecution will announce in the next period, what will happen with this case file '' Gabriela Firea said.
