Victor Ponta acknowledged on the Friday edition of the show "Subjective" that he had moments when he wanted to quit as prime minister, but was advised not to give up.

"I do not know for how long I will be prime minister. I am not a fortune teller. As long as I have the support of the current coalition. I'm tired of some strictly personal things. I wanted to give up the premiership from strictly personal reasons. But the coalition leaders told me that we have embarked on a path and should conclude the projects.

"To speak straightforward, PNL has no one. You cannot govern the country with all the Predoius. We've seen them, we know who led the government, they are the same people. Maybe by next year, in autumn, they will find some better ones and then people may decide otherwise by their votes.. "

In other terms, Ponta said he was confident he would remain prime minister.

"If they take the decision, I bear no hard feelings. But I want to complete my projects I do not expect betrayals, everyone has been fair so far."
