Prime Minister Victor Ponta and the coalition leaders met Wednesday to agree on the areas which will receive additional funds from the budget revision which will take place on Friday, Ponta stating on Twitter that there is a political agreement for health, agriculture and local authorities, Mediafax reports.
“Government and political Coalition meeting on budgetary correction! Agreement and political support for health, agriculture and local authorities" Ponta wrote on his Twitter account, referring to the meeting he had Wednesday with coalition leaders.
Furthermore, government sources have stated that "the Prime Minister and the leaders of coalition parties discussed the principles that will underpin the allocations based on which the budget revision will be conducted on Friday."
They added that the talks were held on a political level and, based on the things agreed, the technical apparatus of the Ministry of Finance will make the distribution of funds so that the budget correction should benefit from the political agreement.
The meeting was held in a protocol villa of RA-APPS, Wednesday morning.
