Prime Minister Victor Ponta stated  Sunday on Antena 3, that he  was looking forward to the  PNL’s reaction   to the  European elections  results  before deciding on a possible presidential candidacy.

"The first, the very first thing we look forward to see the PNL’s  reaction. They will probably hold a congress. Those willing to restore the  USL might win or  those who want Basescu might win instead ", Ponta said, answering a question by Radu Tudor.

"I do not know who will win at the congress. If those who want back in the  USL will win, there is one situation. If the  others win, then certainly that USD will have its own  candidate in the presidential election , " the Premier said.
