Victor Alistar, executive director of Transparency International Ro explained in the show "The Meeting Point" that the case file of Prime Minister Victor Ponta sets off from a commercial relationship between two law firms, a private relationship from 2007-2008.

"He (Victor Ponta- editor’s note) is being investigated by DNA because one of them (of these two firms- editor’s note.) is involved in a case of DNA and automatically that entails the partners too. They should involve all partners of that commercial law firms, not just one ", Victor Alistar said.

According to him, "the situation is similar to the situation where, at some point, the Justice Minister in a particular government appointed his former partner at the law firm as secretary of state."

The case was disclosed by Alessandra Stoicescu Saturday night at the "Q & A" show. It is the former Minister Catalin Predoiu, who is in a conflict of interest situation.

Victor Alistar said that the decision of a conflict of interest situation was given by the judicial structures of Romania.

"If they consider the conflict of interest, then it is in both. Then it is for both, it cannot be for one and not for the other “, the Transparency International Ro director concluded.
