The European Commission has not reached an agreement with Romania regarding the Tax Code, announced Finance Minister Eugen Teodorovici.
The main concern of European officials is linked to the budgetary impact the new Tax Code will have.
The agreement with Romania will be decided on July 14 at a meeting of European finance ministers, meeting in which the IMF will not take part.
Eugen Teodorovici said that Romania no longer needs an agreement with the IMF and the European Commission, because it is no longer in the situation when others should decide what should be done for the country.
European Commission experts discussed today with the Minister of Finance about the economic measures adopted in Romania.
