Obesity has become a serious problem in Romania. According to a new study, over 20 percent of Romanian adults are obese.
The study is showing that the incidence of obesity increases with age: 31 percent of the Romanians aged between 40 and 59 are overweight.
Also, obesity is higher among the rural population, the Romanian researchers are saying.
