In Romania, there is no Christmas without pork rind and no hog purchase without negotiation. Fairs are already full of animals going to the slaughter. Their price is negotiated depending on timer of the year, quantity and expectations. Near Bucharest, the price per kilo of live weight starts at around 6 lei. It can go up considerably, however, depending on weight, race, feeding methods or even veterinary inspection permits.
