Miracles DO happen before Christmas, even at the National Roads Authority! The latter state institution has managed to inaugurate a motorway segment seven months before its completion deadline.
We're talking about the Timişoara-Lugoj motorway which can be used throughout the 142 kilometer stretch from Nădlac to Traian Vuia. This segment will soon have two time limited parking lots and the corresponding motorway services will become operational in two weeks' time, depending on the weather conditions. This motorway constrction project is funded by the Romanian government and the European Union with almost one hundred million euros.
