Anticorruption prosecutors have called for a criminal investigation against Gabriel Oprea, three months after motorcycle policeman Bogdan Gigină's tragic death while riding in the former Interior Minister's motorcade. Oprea is charged with two counts of abuse of power. Prosecutors say he was using motorcades all the time, even when going to the restaurant. Oprea allegedly secured the same special treatment for Romania's Prosecutor General too.
