The Romanian Lottery is being prosecuted for carrying unlicensed gambling activities with slot-machines in the period 2006-2014, in this case the damages exceed 100 million, according to the Prosecutor of the Court of Appeal quoted by Mediafax.

In a press release sent out Wednesday, the Bucharest Prosecutor Court of Appeal announced that it had begun prosecution of the Romanian National Company for Lottery for carrying out gambling activities unlicensed or without permit.

According to the quoted source, in the period 2006-2014 the Romanian Lottery conducted, holding without the necessary licenses and permits, slot-machines gaming activities with a total of 6263 devices provided by other legal entities.
Also, prosecutors ordered the continuation of the prosecution of SC LOTROM LLC, which during 2006-2014 provided the Romanian Lottery with slot-machine for gambling activities which were unauthorized and unlicensed.

Prosecutors say that in this case the damages amount to 463 373 647
