A teacher from Vâlcea County is accused of giving sex education lessons during his religion class. The would-be man of God showed obscene photographs and videos to third-graders. Vasile Chişavu is not a priest but the Church gave him permission to teach religion.
He was deemed a model teacher until a couple of years ago, when a girl complained he fondled her during class. The teacher was punished back then but he was allowed to keep his job.
One of the children refused to look at the pictures but the teacher allegedly called her back to his desk and told her she must learn such things too.
The girls showed their parents the very adult website the teacher was accessing during the religion class. The outraged families complained about it to the school principal and local Mayor.
Parents are filled with indignation and demand that the man should no longer be allowed to teach. People complained that the teacher was fondling his young students and he even gave them massages during class.
Vasile Chişavu is 46 years old, he is divorced and he has three children of his own. The man has been teaching for 17 years in the small school from the village of Vaideeni, in Vâlcea County. He's not a priest but the Church has allowed him to teach religion.
If the Church withdraws its blessing for this religion teacher, it's for the school to decide whether to terminate his contract or not. Two years ago, a sixth-grader complained that the same religion teacher had fondled her during class. Disciplinary action was taken against him back then, but he was allowed to keep his teaching job.
