The US and British Ambassadors to Romania served food to homeless people yesterday. The two diplomats took their roles very seriously and passed around hot soup and bread along with kind words of encouragement.
They were deeply touched by the fate of underprivileged children who received clothes and toys.
The Ambassadors of the United States and Great Britain played Santa for a day and served soup to needy people, side by side.
Besides food, the homeless people from the North Railway station area received clothes, shoes and toys for the little ones.
A helping hand was also lent by a young man who used to be a homeless person until a few years ago. However, he managed to get employed as a cook and now he can bring joy to other people.
