Professor Dan Voiculescu published on his personal blog a message marking the 22 years since the first broadcast of the Antena 1 channel.
" 22 years ago, it was the first day in which Antena 1 broadcast programs . During all this time, Antena 1 strengthened and led to the establishment of the Intact trust. To be able to resist for two decades in the jungle of the market economy, believe me, it was not easy. Today I would like to thank to Florin Brătescu, the first director of Antena 1 and to all those who have contributed to this outstanding development. Antena 1 has been projected to last at least 100 years. Therefore: let’s work for the satisfaction of making something useful in life !"
