Anticorruption prosecutors have started criminal investigations against the people who helped certain convicts publish books in order to be released from prison sooner. Charged with aiding and abetting are several Professors who coordinated the detainees' so-called scientific work, managers of the publishing houses who had the books printed and distributed, as well as prison managers who initiated and signed the early release forms. Some Professors allegedly wrote themselves the scientific papers or books which the paroled prisoners took credit for.
