Though negotiations are expected on the USL protocol. Sources from within the Alliance argue that the PSD aims for a new weighting distribution of the offices within the Government, from 70% to 30%, which means that the PNL will not have any representatives in the cabinet.

 According to information provided by Antenna 3, PM Ponta wants a cabinet reshuffle to replace Eugen Nicolaescu and other ministers belonging to the PNL. The Liberals currently have 313 proposals of staff to be appointed in the state administration, appointments blocked by the PSD.  

If renegotiated, that could mean a cabinet reshuffle and more ministers belonging to the Liberals (3-4) will leave the Government and those offices will be taken over by the social democrats.

It is very likely that these things would happen, considering that the PSD president, Victor Ponta sated that the protocol was suspended.
