A woman from Vaslui gave birth without any medical assistance, only three hours after local doctors had sent her home. The new mother was told it was unlikely for her baby to be born any time soon, although she went to the hospital because of the painful contractions she had every 20 minutes. The doctors said she should return for another checkup the following day. Shortly after she arrived home, the woman gave birth assisted by her husband. The couple had previously dialled 112 and called an Ambulance. But the baby came faster than the paramedics.
